Speaking of Fujisan, in the early morning of October 5 I was on the Tomei Expressway going to a tour in West Izu.
It was a beautiful day! As we approached Mt. Fuji I noticed the umbrella cloud on top.
When we got closer, I saw that there were really THREE dome-shape clouds, one over the other.
I think that it must be very rare! In the attached j-peg picture, the second cloud is almost hidden, but you can still see it.

１０月５日の朝早くに東名を使って西伊豆に行きました。とても良い天気でした。
富士山頂に傘雲をかぶっている姿が見え、近づくにつれそれが三重の傘雲であること がはっきりわかりました。
とてもめずらしい光景だと思ったので写真におさめました。
真ん中の雲はほとんど隠れてしまっていますが、なんとか見ることができます。
